Set around an agreeably rustic courtyard some five minutes’ walk from Oxford Street, Mamma Mia, now well into its second decade, serves up top-quality thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas in an attractive setting, making it easily one of Accra’s best options for Italian food. The outside area has a trattoria-like feel, with rough-hewn paving stones and warm terracotta tilework. There’s air conditioning inside. A second outpost has recently been opened in East Legon.
